 Home Boarding Terms & Conditions 

1. Business Details

2. Eligibility for Boarding

Dogs must be:

• • Fully vaccinated for distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, leptospirosis & kennel cough (proof required)

  • Microchipped

  • Free of contagious diseases, parasites, or fleas

  • Non-aggressive and sociable with other dogs/people

  • Must be up to date with flea and worming treatment

  • Must be neutered/spayed

  • Toilet trained

  • Dogs are not allowed upstairs (they must be able to sleep alone)

• Trial session must take place before booking

3. Bookings & Deposits

• Bookings to be made by phone or email - followed up with email confirmation

• 25% Deposit required at the time of booking 

• Full payment is due 48 hrs before drop off

• Payment methods accepted: bank transfer or cash

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation policy (free up to 7 days before, non-refundable deposit after)

• Cancellation by business due to emergency, full refund and help looking for alternative care.

5. Pricing

• Overnight boarding 24hrs  (10am-10am) charged at £35 

• 12hrs  £25

• 6hrs £15

• The following holidays will be charged at £65 a night, all other bank holidays incur a £10 surcharge 

  • Christmas Eve Christmas Day, Boxing Day

  • New Years Eve, New Years Day 

6. Process for boarding

• Before confirming a boarding reservation, I ask that you bring your dog in for an initial visit where they stay with us for one hour. This helps us get to know your dog and see how comfortable they feel in our environment.

• If the visit goes well, we proceed with a trial boarding stay.

• The trial board is priced the same as a regular boarding stay, and the same hours apply. If the initial visit, any additional sessions, and the trial boarding go smoothly, we’ll be happy to move forward with a full boarding booking.

7. Veterinary Care & Emergencies

• Use of owner’s nominated vet, or my vet Westwood Vets Boston Spa. 

• Owner responsible for all vet fees

• Emergency contact required in the UK

• Permission to seek veterinary care

8. Feeding & Medication

• Owner must provide food/treats

• All medication must be clearly labelled with dosage instructions

• Permission to administer medication

9. Belongings

• Owner must provide bedding, bowls and leads

10. Data Protection & Photos

• Personal data kept in line with GDPR

• Consent for using dog’s photos for marketing 

11. Liability

• My public liability insurance is HALL-00739-ISBB-00000002 

• Limitations of liability:

  • Not liable for illness/injury unless due to negligence

  • Not liable for dogs escaping due to inadequate collars/leads

12. Collection & Drop-Off

• Pick up and drop off at 10am (unless agreed at the time of the booking)

• Late collection fees charged at 6hr rate if more than 30 mins late.  

13. Aggressive or Dangerous Dogs

• Right to refuse or remove any dog displaying aggression, immediate contact with owner/emergency contact in such cases

• Owner responsible for all costs related to damage or injury caused by their dog

14. Insurance

• Confirmation that the business holds:

  • Pet business insurance & Public liability insurance HALL-00739-ISBB-00000002
